Features
TOSCO C-1 is designed for producing coil springs at high precision. It has been produced for the last 25 years without having major design change. Total accumulated to 500 units. Aiming for the springs with small wire diameter or small spring diameter, it has been widely used by the users mainly in electronics industry.
TOSCO C-1-TIP is a modified version from C-1, and it is particularly designed for the production of micro-spring to be inserted into the ballpoint pen tip.
TOSCO C-1-TIP makes a straight part to the 0.08 to 0.4 mm diameter wire, and simultaneously forms a fold-back portion at the end of the wire (fold-back process can be omitted, if not necessary), and eventually makes a coiled spring.

This fold-back shape of spring dramatically gives you a smooth feeling in writing.The wire is fed digitally at the straight part with sub motor, and the other parts are mechanically controlled by gears, cams, levers, etc. This composition makes the production speed fast, and realize a high precision of dimensions.

TOSCO C-1-TIP is equipped with a camera and display to monitor the real time machining condition.
After installing the wire bundle on the reel stand, the machine runs full-automatically.
The spring is cut at the last process. TOSCO C-1-TIP is equipped with an air shooting function to collect the cut springs to carry to the next process.
